Business Systems Services (UK) Limited was established in 1983 by its current Managing Director, Teifion Davies. With nearly 30 years in business BSS have worked with many businesses and technologies, gaining experience in a wide range of industry types and office sizes along the way.
BSS began as a software development company, producing a product called MACS for the British Coal Company. They have maintained their roots in the fuel industry and the software is now in it's 4th generation (now named emtoo) having been updated along the way to keep up with changing technology. emtoo has also been adapted for a range of industries including buidling, manufacturing, glass processing and even a butchers.
As the software became more reliant on hardware, BSS decided to expand their range by offering IT support and networking services to help business build the right infrastructure for their software. BSS' engineers have worked hard to become Microsoft Partners, ensuring that we stay on top of the latest releases.
Then, with the internet, became the need for websites and with BSS' background in software development this was an obvious addition to our portfolio.
In 2008 BSS decided to rebrand the sections of the company - Picseli and Pulse IT - as a marketing exercise and to better explain our complete range of services.
BSS have a small, but dedicated and skilled team, with a strong family influence. The board of Directors is made up of Teifion (Managing Director), his wife Zena (Financial Director), and their daughter Rhian (Creative Director).
