Founded by managing director Teifion Davies in 1983, BSS is now among a select few companies in South Wales and the West of England to be named as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for its work offering IT support, web development and bespoke software development to a client base that includes charity LLys Nini, Swansea Business Club, Brickability and Jenkins Bakery.

The company employs a team of staff including software and web developers and network technicians from its purpose built offices in Gorseinon on the outskirts of Swansea. In the last three years, BSS has introduced Picseli and Pulse IT- two sister companies, specialising in web development and hardware and networking support, and most recently document and data handling expertise in the form of The Document Management Company.

The inclusion of the complimentary sister companies makes BSS one of only a handful of companies to provide a fully integrated IT service in South Wales.

Most recently BSS was involved in the transfer of data systems and the archiving of all company information during the £21.9m buyout of Chevron by GB Oils. BSS is now working alongside the company to migrate systems and archive data for the next seven years.
